“Baby don’t you lie to me!”, estrenamos lo nuevo de The Fratellis como 20º #Antilunes.

Vigésimo #antilunes, la cosa ha crecido desde que en mayo de este año se nos ocurrió lanzar una idea que hoy sigue alguna dj famosa en nuestro programa favorito (cualquier parecido con la realidad es pura coincidencia). “Lousy connection” de Ezra Furman fue el primero de los #antilunes y casi 6 meses después la idea se ha afianzado. La canción que hemos seleccionado para hoy es muy potente, transmite un gran mensaje (hoy queremos dedicar esta canción) y tiene la esencia de sus autores: The Fratellis, que, para suerte de todos, están de vuelta con un nuevo disco, “Eyes wide, tongue tied”, publicado en este 2015.

Hay que reconocer que este trío de escoceses tienen un punto especial para hacer indie rock del bueno. Desde la tierra de William Wallace estrenamos el videoclip de “Baby don’t you lie to me!”. Estamos de enhorabuena, The Fratellis suenan como siempre, sus ritmos son los de siempre, sus riffs nos evocan a sus mejores temas, este tema tiene algo de “Henrietta”, uno de sus hits más famosos. Pero lo mejor que podéis hacer es dejar de leer y escuchar la canción. Aquí tenéis el videoclip.
